Project Title: Testing Online Meaning-Centered Groups in Promoting Psychological Well-Being and Reducing Distress in Ontario Retirement Home Residents

COVID-19 has had a substantial negative impact on the health and well-being of older Canadians, a demographic with the highest proportion of fatalities nationwide. This project will test and disseminate Online Meaning-Centered Groups (OMG) – an eight-session, scalable, psychosocial group intervention among older retirement home residents aimed at reducing perceived social isolation, feelings of anxiety and despair, and enhancing psychological resiliency and well-being.
